Yep they can and do spawn in the fall, last year at the koi show they had to seperate a bunch of koi because they were spawning this was late September. I have been told by a few farmers here that there koi spawn twice a year, early spring and late fall, as a matter of fact I have been watching my koi because Im looking for them to spawn, my females are swelling pretty good and if the temps warm back up, then the chase is on. I live in Georgia.

. Is she looking a little "plump" lately? There was another poster who just found some young fry in his pond a few days ago and he didn't even know it had happened
. If you had a cool snap and then a warm up her clock might have gotten messed up and triggered egg production.

Can't wait until Spring again. I had such enjoyment raising my Koi babies.
