Dear Members

Please help on the breeding of koi,how would i know if my koi egss were fertelized by the males.When does the male spawn on the eggs ,(when the female is busy depositing her eggs or after she is finish.Do i have to remove the males emediatley with the female after she has finished with laying her eggs.

What offspring would i get with a female platinum,orange hariwake with a orenji and platinum male.

They could be anything. But most likely the majority of them will be Ogons. You could wind up with some Hariwakes and some Platinums.

THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE,AFTER ONLY THREE DAYS THE FRY IS OUT LOOKS LIKE THOUSANDS OF THEM!

I ALSO SPAWNED A YELLOW MATSUBA MALE 50 CM WITH A50 CM YAMABUKI AND IS WAITING FOR THE FRY TO GET OUT
