 I have brown baby fish in my koi pond, why are they not colored? Are they okay to leave in the pond?

Yes they are o.k.

I have babys which are a year old and are just changing colour (gold/black at mo). Past couple of months they have started surface feeding with the big boys Cool

Just give it time.
