Of course !

You should put the fry in a glass tank so it is easier to monitor, get those small sponge filter so the fry won't get suck and the air pump rate should be minimal. I think it is better not to use the airstone lah. Otherwise too oxygenated will be too "siong" lah. I read this in a koi book.

Hi again koi_lover.
We used those sponge filters last year. Loved them. Then of course if you are thinking of breeding koi, you better not be afraid of culling out koi. We had thousands and I mean thousands of eggs. I guess we where left with about 100 fingerlings that we just couldn't throw out or cull. They where all beautiful butterfly. We used buckets to remove most of the water. I had tried an idea of a bucket with a pipe in the water, supposedly it should kind of where you don't have to use buckets. You can probably look for the post. Go to any posted items that I might have posted, there will be a response to what I asked about changing out water. Oh you need a female and at least two males to breed koi. See yah around, Lynda
