what is a mud pond? Can't Post

What is a mud pond? I have three ponds, one is a man made liner pond, the other two are ponds in our field. They hold water well because of the high clay content. Are they considered mud ponds? Thanks new to Koi and new to this forum.

Welcome to the forum and Yup, you have 2 mud ponds. That's really all they are. If you stock them with a few koi they will very likely outgrow and become more colorful than the ones in your lined pondWink
