Eclipse 3 hood

Hi! is anyone familiar with the eclipse 3 hood that is said to go with a 29 gallon tank. I would like to put 2 baby koi in it. Is that enough filtration or do I need to go directly to a Rena undergravel filter? Also, how long couldp 2 babies live happily in there before I transfer them to a pond? Thank you!
