yeah i agree with zoul .. it would be extremely difficult to clean n maintain your pond for it's a hiding place for poop which will lead to high ammonia levels in your water = dead koi .. and thats not something you'd want .. unless you can get a pond vac n maintain it properly .. but thats a lot of work on your side
Hello, take the rocks out!!!! People often put them in with the idea that they look good, this is true!!! But remember that the focus point of the pond is the Koi, so if you have koi they will atract more attention than some gray rocks at the bottom!And in little time they will be covered with a fine layer of alge, so you will not even notice them exept for some dark colored objects at the bottom!
Actually there are only a few boulders on the bottom. They were placed to hold the liner in place but could probably be taken out now. The rocks around the edge are on a shelf and only goes a few inches below the surface. The pond is bare bottom with a bottom drain. Thanks for the advice
