I think I'll pass. Louisiana bayous are famous for several things that will make tasty treats of any koi escapee's. 'Gators and Gar. They both have too many teeth for me to tangle withPirate.

i think that the ocean water would of killed them all...PirateUnsureFrown i did know of a few people that they lied in new orleans and who knows... well her fish are deffinatly gone! also the dead bodies i think put dieseases in the water and that may kill the koi too... i wander what the ph, amonia and nitrates areCrazy

Everything there is going to be a complete train wreck for at least 6 months. Most of the water flooding N.O. was from lake Ponchatrane, which is only somewhat salty, not like ocean water. The problems are just getting started when it comes to pollution though. Everything imaginable and a lot of things you don't want to even think about are going to mess things up for a long time. As much as I hate to say it, it won't surprise me if 1/2 of the city just has to be burned to the ground.

i agree with you... i think they should just drain it and let people go back to there home and actually not rebuild it totally just for people to go back to there home and just burn it when every body has returned and left... and let it fill with water again or leave it untill it floods again and forget about it and not do anything.... does anyone have an idea how theyll get water out? ill let them borrow my 3000 gph pump and let them draine the city with that, it would only take a few hundred years to drain it with that lolUnsure
