Hi all

Just showing off my pond to new members who are thinking about a pond this year. It took about 2 months to get the water in and another 3 to finish the patio and make it nice. If you want to see the whole saga then vist http://koipondbuild.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ for a brief photo tour.

Hi Jon

Yes I do add air to the veggie filter it probably helps with general airation but I do it so I don't get any stagnant corners and it keeps the veggie free of bits of dead plant as they cycle through into the filter.

There are 10 koi and a few native "Mirror Carp" that I love as they get real tame real quick and grow like you have never seen in a Koi.
