My 1st Pond Can't Post

I don't understand how anybody can knock these things out in a couple days. With my busy schedule I was only able to work on the pond about 1 time a week, and it ended up taking me about 3 months to complete. Its still a work in progress but I am so proud of it now that it is near completion. Check out my pics and let me know what you think.

Re: [s_clan] My 1st Pond [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks for the comments. The dimensions are 11 x 6 x 2.5. Im using a Sequence 750 pump, a savio compact skimmer, a savio biofilter waterfall, and a savio 25w uv light, and a bottom drain with 3" piping. I just installed the uv a couple days ago because i was already getting green water. Im hoping that is going to clear it up. The coldest it gets here is about 35 degrees f. On a rare occasion it may fall to 30 degrees f. Haven't added any koi yet, but I cant wait to do it. I kinda wanted to handle one variable at a time to try and get the water clear.

Jonc....

You are doing things right....but yes....I admire your patience with aging the pond and water and all....I myself waited a year before adding koi...Tongue

Have fun when you look for koi...
