My First Pond Can't Post

Hi All,
I am new to the forum so I thought I would share a bit of my Koi history with you all.
This was my first pond. I had this pond for 3 years prior to moving to a new location.
And as you know "once a pond always a pond"!

Thanks in advance for your help on my new pond.

Regards,
Jeff

HI Jon,
Here are a couple of pictures. One is of the last pond & the other is the new pond that we have been discussing.
You can see the Biofilter/waterfall in the picture that I want to oxygenate. The biofilter is 30" dia X 88" tall with 60" above the waterline.
EnjoyCool

I love your new pond and where you have located the pond, right at the front door. I just hope you dont come home a little on the tipsy side and fall in.Sly You dont have to worry about someone breaking into your home with your pond at the door unless they use the back door they would fall in trying to take things out in a hurry.Laugh

HI Jon,
I checked out your pond. How long has it been in operation?
Looks like depth is approx 4' - 5'. What is the water volume? I like the window concept - pictures makes the fish look like they are flying (maybe that is why you call them test pilots)Wink.

I see you are also using an airpump to oxygenate the biofilter.

Nice job on the construction. Always nice to see a professional job!

Where are you located? Nice to know your environmental conditions for discussion.

Take Care,
Jeff

HI Judy,
Yes, that may be why I decide against the alligators!Cool
Koi seemed safer in case I was to fall in. Also gave up drinking so would not drown!!!Crazy
Thanks for the comments.

Take Care
Jeff

HI Jon,
"No Worries Mate"..."She be Right"Wink
Sounds like we share common climates as I am in San Diego, California.
Our climetes are the same except you have a bit more humidity than us Northerners.

I spent 2 years (94-96) in Sydney so I know your land pretty well.

Just a quick question...Why aren't there any upside down Smiley Faces for you guys hanging upside down?

Take Care Mate

Really enjoyed your pond. Is the pond in the foyer after you step inside or is it outside stepping into the house? At any rate, it's a beauty. always enjoy the pics. thanks, cuda

HI Cuda,
Thanks for the complments.Wink
Pond is in a courtyard prior to entry into the house. Thought I might have to many problems if it was inside the house.
See attachment for plan view relative to the house.

Take Care,
Jeff
