My new pond	Can't Post

I started building this back in June 2005 and have only a little bit of edging to complete at the rear (next week i hope).

It's 2.5m x 2.5m x 1m (at deepest area) has shelves at 0.3m and 0.5m depths. I know it's not massive, but it looks just right size for my garden I think and can always get the spade back out in years to come :) It's great fun all this pond building. I did it all alone inside 4 weeks to date. Good going I reckon! :) I'm very proud. hehe :)

I'll try get some pics of my fish at a later date. They're just starting to overcome their shyness this week :)

Kind of.. I simply submerged my digital camera in a small plastic fishtank and took some pics :) Cheep and cheerful!

Good idea,
I will try this method by putting my digital camera into a plastic bag and take some pictures...Btw, did you have the flashlight on when you tool those 2 pictures ?

Ensure that you don't get any water in your camera!

Plastic bag would just suck around the camera, that's why I used a solid clear container.

And, no I don't like using the flash on my fish, don't like shocking them :)

I'm seriously considering getting a wireless cctv camera to submerge into the pond, so that I can watch them that way rather than submerge a camera all the time. You will probably find that they all shy away at first and all stick together, just like the photo I showed above.

Thanks for the good feedback. Any comments on my pond construction?
