Now thats a waterfall. You must loose allot of power from the pump, pumping the water that high. Looks great though.

Can't wait to see the pictures of the new pond once it's complete.

Hi... just wondering, are you going to site your new pond where this old one is? Is this pond indoors? I don't think I see any natural lighting onto this pond from the photos. (correct me if I'm wrong)
I would suggest you open up a large sky light above your pond to let lotsa sun in (if possible). From experience it's very very difficult to maintain the vibrant colours and good skin of koi without sunlight. Even with my large skylight over my indoor pond, the colours of my koi are still markedly different from those of the outdoor pond. Colours are a lot weaker even though both ponds are fed on the same feed and kois of the same bloodline. So do consider that.Unsure

Here's just my thoughts....

cheers.

That picture above was taken during the night, hence you can only see artificial lightings - my pond is outdoor and the nettings above the pond screens the heavy sunlight. Yes, I will be re-building my pond on the same site with extension up to the corner side of the wall and while building the new and bigger and better, proper koi pond, I'll be temporarily housing the koi's at a show vat.

Below is the picture of my pond in daylight - taken today March 18

That's a lot of sun!!

Laugh HAha..... must have mad a fool of myself. So it's OUTDOORS!! Great. Hmmm, a nice timber pergola over the pond would be a great addition.

That was a spurt of the moment screening of the sun, when we got tired of the pea soup green color of the pond at the start - well, it work - but since we're going to re build the pond soon, no need to make a new timber pergola on it. I'm thinking of a treated bamboo design next time.
