I see a Yamabuki Ogon and a Kohaku. Nice beginning. I hope you plan for a larger pond in the future?

If you do, a gravity or pump fed settlement tank to a trickle tower at around 10% of the pond's volume would be a great start.

Thats a nice little pond and no one will kick you for the hose pipe. I wish I had a little pond on the deck in the back and maybe one day I can have one. I my have to wait for death first though as Jack does not want another pond.

As you can see I am very limmited to the size of a pond I can build. That is one half of my backyard, the other half has the deck and hot tub so I decided to lay a patio and build a pond. I dug the pond another foot deep past the patio, you would never know unless looked in the pond. I have one issue with my pond, It gets no dirrect sunlight, with the temp 70' F for the week, the pond temp has not risen over 52'f anyone have any ideas.

Are those blocks just freestanding or are they cemented together? I like the look of that pond a lot. Well done.

They are free standing, I didnt want to cement them in because they are just over 4.00 a piece so they can be moved around later buy a future home owner or myself. The pond is very stable so I didnt feel the need to permanetly cement them in.
