My pond Can't Post

Here it is, my backyard serenity. We believe its just under 2400 gallons, 39 inches deep all the way across, slightly sloped sides. About 16 feet long and 8 wide. We have a powerjet 2000 running the vorton 4000uv, the powerjet 10000 with bio/mech filter running the waterfall/water circulator. ( what I mean is about half of the output goes to the fall and other half goes through a diverter into the back side of the pond to keep water moving) And for the hot summer days we have a pondmaster 20 aerator also installed. The pond was rebulit in the spring ( was half the size before ) and no problems, no bad algae and crystal clear water, pond is full sun so we have a few water lillies in it. We have 7 fish in it, 5 koi and 2 goldfish ranging from 6" to 10". All have been with me for a few years and made the move to the bigger pond with no problems.

Re: [Duck99] My pond [In reply to] Can't Post

Forgot to add, the stones are natural field stone and I have a liner in it, water quality is good, ph around 7.6 and I have salt up to .10 in it. Only thing I need to work on is the water temp during the day, it's been between 82 and 85 ( our temps have been in the 90s for weeks ). I would like to get it lower.

hey thats a nice and pretty pond! if you want to lower your water temperature try buring all of the piping under the ground. it will help from the sun heating up the pipe lines. also the ground will cool itSmile it looks great
Thanks Marshall
