My two months old pond Can't Post

I'm a first time koi keeper. Read a lot before finally get the contractor to build one. 15' long x 5' wide x 3.5' deep. I think it's about 7400 liters. The pond is two months old now. Added 12 cheap baby kois to cycle the pond. They are about 4" long when I bought them. Have been there for about a month. So far all of them a surviving and active. They grow quite fast, about 5" now I think.

Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0
KH - 3°
PH - 8

Not sure the bacteria have grown in the filter chamber or not. Dare not buy any better kois. How many kois can I keep with this size of pond?

From the other angle and also the filter chambers. I filled the first chamber with brushes, the second (largest chamber) with mat and corals. The third is empty with UV. So far the UV works quite effective against green algae.

hey josh,
very cozy pond. the rule of thumb is 1tonne for adult 60cm, but a narrow pond is not really optimal for bulking up koi. nonetheless if 7-8 large enough kois swin in your pond, still its quite a joy.

you can definitely double your stock if you starting small 20cms kois. as they grow, u can give away some and keep the nice ones!! but youll figure out your best stock size once your more familiar with your filter cleaning routine!!
