Our Ponds in Victorville, CA Can't Post

Below are some photos of our two backyard ponds in Victorville, CA. We build our first pond in June 2004 using a 100 gallon preshaped pond tub. Realizing this was too small for koi, we built a second 2,400 gallon pond in September 2004 using a EDPM 45mm liner. Our large pond is now home to 45 butterfly and standard fin koi ranging in size from 3" - 20" in addition to approximately 15 comet goldfish and 100 or so mosquito fish and rosy red minnows. During the spring and summer months our small pond is home to a beautiful assortment of ornamental fish as well as a dozen or so tadpoles/frogs.

Here are some assorted photos of our big pond...

Hi, the small and large ponds are beautiful. Great landscaping too. The butterfly koi and goldfish are very attractive together in the aquarium. Noticed a beautiful ogon in your pond too. Isn't it wonderful that they all could live together in harmony. Great job. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Smile
Always friendly :)

Thanks for the complements. I'm still a newby when it comes to ponds and koi keeping, but I'm already hooked! It seems like I'm always coming up with new ideas for improvements to our ponds.

Hi Joseph and Gabby, Nice ponds. Soon you will be digging an even bigger one...it never stopsCool. I am not too far from you in Alta Loma (Rancho Cucamonga). We should organize a pond tour sometime...my brother lives near by and he has a couple of ponds too.

Here are my ponds

A pond tour would be cool. I'm actually planning to start construction on a third pond, exclusively for my turtles in the next few months. My direct email address is josephandgabby@yahoo.com. I'm pretty swamped during the week with work and school, but maybe we could set something up over the weekends. It would be cool to see other ponds...
