Hi all, Finally got the picture to share with you.The construction took some time with adjustments here and there but we are quite pleased with the result. The Pond is 16ft(L)x12ft(B)x5ft(D). The filter borders the front of pond in L-shape from left to right. It is covered by slate tiled panels which are a mistake as it is very heavy and requires two person to open. I had not much choice in order to maintain the aesthetic of the floor area. The filterconsist of 1 settlement with nets,1chamber with brushes ,3 chambers of Jap mats, 1chamber with baskets of cockle shells, 1 for the pumps and the last is the drain chamber. I have a submerged 40 watt UV light in the pump chamber ; my family couldnt wait for the green water to clear. It works beautifully. Only 3 weeks and I am able to see to at least 3 feet of water. I have two 12,000 litres /hr pumps; 1 for the water cascade and the other through 3 venturis to the main pond. 2 air pumps; one for the filter and the other for the uni-rings for one the the 3 bottom drains. The pond is cover to 80% but polycarbonate sheets I have lets in too much sunlight and heat. So I will be covering the pergola with nettings. Now that the water is clearer, I suddenly realised there are quite a lot of fishes about 30 of various sizes. So I dont think I ll add any new purchase for the time being. I am attaching some pictures of the pond and my daughter's Kuchibeni Inazuma. I am not really sure it can be classified as Inazuma. Comments? (sorry I received a prompt advising that my jpeg file s are too big. I ll try to email to Mr khoo)
