Hi, thanks for sharing the pictures. Nice pond with beautiful stone edges and waterfall. The water is quite clear with the pebbles on the floor clearly seen. This is due to the shallow depth of the pond. Lots of sunshine too. This pond may not be too suitable for growing koi as it's not deep enough. Try to provide some shade to the pond as too much sunlight is harmful to their skin. It's a beautiful water feature though. Great job. Well done. Smile
Always friendly :)

thank you for you kind words! yes it is very clear. it is actually about 24 inches deep thats not deep but to me deeper than it looks. if you noticed we recently added a kind of cave in the center back(right of the squirting frog doing a handstand lol) for cover and also for hiding if an animal tries to eat them for a midnight snack, which has happened lol. also we use the lily pad and other plants for shade.
Thanks Marshall

When you finally build the large pond, remember this pond could also be used for spawning, so one day your fish can have thousands and thousands of little babies too!

But its a beautiful pond nonetheless, I would be concerned with the buildup of sludge and debris below the pebbles, because long ago I too have a gravel bottomed pond :(
