Hi
I have done my pond in 2003 and i did it all my shelt, it took me about 7 or 8 months to completed.
I build it before i found this forum and i know i made some mistake, #1- no bottom drain #2- no skimmer.
the pond about 2,800 gallons, more then 5 feets deep, two 55 gallon drums for filter and i use 2 inches thick filter media, 1600 GPH submersible pump, in the spring i install a 25 w UV light and i took it out in Winter.
I don't many nice koi but i have few and here picture of my koi.
