100 tons pond, No Need!!!!!! Can't Post

Last week, I visited my friend's pond, "Peter", which is actually owned the ranchu farm "Absolute Ranchu". Last year in February, I went there once with my friend "+2p". He asked me to see his pond and would like us to comment for improvement.

Backgroud
His pond capacity is 30 tons with 18 tons of filtration system in "L" shape. He used only 1x18 tons/hr submersible pumb and 1x200 Hiblow.

As you seen, the condition of the pond. I and +2p recommended him to make changes. Last week, I visited him again with the Koi floks. Yes, he made a lot of changes including:

1. put more air pump. Most of us always forgot about it.

He put 2x200 Hiblow and 1x120 Medo altogether.

Mikoi, you are correct. It is placed in the first chamber as mechanical fitration.

The water flows from the bottom liked up flow. The vent in the honey comb is zig-zag shape allowed debris to settle downward.

By the way, How many air stoones is your friend powering with his 200 watt airpump?
