Any pipes or other things to worry about b4 i digg? Can't Post

Im about to dig my pond in my backyard, should i be worried about hitting any gas pipes or other pipes? Its going to be 4 ft deep.
How deep down are the gas and sewage pipes ?
Any other precautions i should do?
thx

suggest you check the blueprints of your house or contact city hall planners office for a copy.

suggest you go at least 5 feet at the deepest part.

cheers

house sewer typically buried about 2 to 3 feet deep depending on the size of the house. Electric, water and gas should properly come in from the front. You should check for manholes around the digging site before start, you can guess the sewer route and depth by opening the manhole cover.

Best is to get the plan of your house before start.
