Connecting 110mm solvent pipe to Eazypod 90mm outlet Can't Post

Hi

How on earth do you connect 110mm solvent pipe to the 90mm outlet for a gravity system on the Eazypod.

I am about to go either crazy or at least be reduced to tears over this as it is getting to me now..

The installation manual says the rubber connector should be a 90-115mm connector but the one I have is an "evolution

aqua" 86-91mm connector and the outside diameter of the pipe is 90mm... and I cannot find an appropriate way to join them.

Please HELP

Many Thanks

TONY

Tony,

They might have sent you the wrong rubber connector. You should have 110 reduced to 90. You can either ask the supplier or you can go to your local hardware store and but the rubber connector, it's called fernco. It comes with stainless steel adjustable ring clampsSmile

Hi

I fitted an eazy pod last year and I just forced the rubber the rubber boot on to the pipe first. They are very pliable and it will fit with a drop of lubericant then after you have the boot on the end of the pipe you fit it to the filter.

Eazy....
