Creating a DIY Liner Pond Can't Post

I'm in the process of building a liner pond in the UK. At the moment, the dimensions are 1.8 x 2.7m and probably 1m deep. I'm still debating the shape of the pond, given that I'm using a liner. I'm wondering - what is the easiest shape to make a pond in with a liner? A rectangle with a base that slopes towards the bottom drain? Or is it possible to create a slope?
