I need help or handy info for me to build new pond at my new house

Hi to all members, i am newbies here and wish to gather handy information to build my new koi ponds; but i facing problem to read on all the forum special terms....; my koi ponds size is going to be 10'L x 5'6"W x 4'D, going to have 5 chambers, but i wish to know about the chamber media for 2nd, 3rd and 4th, because the last and first chamber is the incoming water and outgoing water; currently my contractor is quoting the ponds and will give me 1st chamber [mess/green sponge stuff], 2nd chamber [brushes], 3rd chamber [bio ball]. last chamber got 2 pumps & 1 ultra violet. Do i need to know set the water from upside down or bottom toward upside...? Please provide me some guideline....thank you...!
