Jumping Koi Can't Post

This evening, after I fed my koi some oranges which they devoured with incredible fondness, a couple of them were jumping up the surface of the water. I noticed it was also a little foamy. I did all my ammonia, nitrite and nitrate tests today and the results were all excellent. What is the cause of them jumping? They are not rubbing against the wall and they are not flashing so I guess it can't be parasites. Hope you can help!
Cheers
Ben

Jumping Koi [In reply to] Can't Post

Jumping Koi falls into 2 categories, those who are trying to adapt to the present environment or there are new fishes added into the group. Whichever is the case, if your koi jump as the way you described, I guess there is no cause for worry. However, just keep an eye on them.
When you say your water quality is excellent do you mean pH 7~7.4 and the rest zero?

Good luck
