Hi there, I think you could do with more filter media in the chamber with the lone white pvc stand pipe and place more air-stones for oxygen supply into the transfer port i.e. the narrow chamber which you have some filter media in it now. I suspect there are some problem with your pump / water circulation in the system. Normally, the water level in the pump chamber will be the same with the pond water level. In this case, there ain't a lot of water in your pump chamber. BTW, do you have timber decking over the filtration chambers from sunlight? Best Regards, Thiam Hwa Hi Thiamhwa, Appreciate your feedback. Yes, i believe theres something major faulty with the pump as previously it was higher than the UV light. Yes, i suspect that there is a major faulty with one of the pumps as there is a slight noise coming out from 1 of the pumps. Btw, i'm too scared to open it up, as i think that the fan is not turning properly which i think the main reason why the water level is low. Regarding the filter media, i was thinking of putting in more japanese mat or "scotch-brite" kind of material in there as right now, my pond is very murky. Any ideas as how to make the floor of the pond darker or black-er?
