Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum of which I find very interesrting and participated by friendly and some very passionate Koi lovers.

I am currently planning remodelling my house in the Subang area and intend to construct a rectangular Koi pond of 16ft(L)
x 12ft(B)x 4ft(D) with a two tier water cascade and of course the all important filtration system. To avoid coordination problems, I will have my contractor construct the pond.

I will appreciate any enthusiasts out there who will be able and willing to design, spec and provide the construction blueprints for
the mentioned pond either professionally or out of love..... Although I was a very active
fishkeeper in my childhood, Koi keeping is serious stuff, hence my plea. Looking forward to hear from you all real soon.

Hello HWONG

I,may be able to assit on your pond and filter system construction,way only 4ft,a depth of 5-6ft is more suitable for your pond size and a lot better for the kois.

Hello Hans,

Thanks for your response. I am limiting the depth for safety reasons bcos I dont want to place any fence or barricade around the pond. I have young children. However if you have any suggestions to overcome my concern and still achieve the desired depth , it will be super. I shall be contacting you once my architect is done with the layout for the house next week
