Pond maintenance Can't Post

Hi everyone!

I'm a newbie to the hobby and would like to maintain excellent water quality in my pond. My pond is about 25 tons. Is there a specific maintenance schedule I should follow? For example, how often should I clean the bottom drain, settlement chamber, other filter media, etc? Look forward to some advice! Smile Thanks! By the way, I have abour 22 fish in my pond. Largest is about 45cm.

Hello, there is no rule, basicaly you have to check things, like are there leaves that fall into the pond? if so this will clog the drain, so you have to just be interested in the hobby and stay on top of things! Also you must have a biofiltration system!

Thanks Jim! I already have a bio filter. 5 chambers altogether including the dry chamber. It's 1/3 the size of the pond.
