Pool as Grow-Out Pond... Can't Post

This spring I'm planning to convert a 15' round (5' deep) above-ground pool into a grow-out pond. With over 5,000 gallons of swim area, I think it should do nicely. I will be using 45ml EPDM liner so not to worry about anything toxic leaching out from the standard pool liner. Just curious whether any of you have attempted anything similar. If so, any adviice and/or pictures of your setup would be appreciated...

Hello, I have done this! My pond/pool is great! The main thing is filtration! There is one other thing, they are not very atractive lookng!!! And they can be punctured!!! But they can be moved, What I did is I planted Canna around the pool which helps to hide the blue siding , and since the pool is about waist high, you can stand next to the pool and very easily hand feed your koi!!!Remember that since the pool is high,my trickle towers must be higher!! I hide them back behind some bushes , they are on a wooden stand! Remember that these pools are designed to withstand people playing and jumping in the pool, so they are pretty strong! I dont own the house where I live so this is the best option for me! But If I owned my house I would do things better! Also they are cheap! I am interested in breeding so, they work out good!
