Pool become ... Pond Can't Post
Hi ...
I'm new comer Koi's hobbyst. Would like to modify my pool become pond. Any suggestion for this matter ?
the pool size : 2m x 5m x 1m (deep).

Thanks a lot for any comment and suggestion.

Nice pool.. Its all there ready for kois...Cool

Just locate the end of the bottom drain and extend it to a filtration system and back to the pond via waterfall..

Here .. my new pond. Filter Size : 2m x 1m - Ijuk, bioball, zeolit.
Try reduce algae : put ... flora ... i don't know the name and the result ....

What I can see is that you have an algal bloom in the pond. If the biological filter is only a few days or weeks old, you should be patient and give the biomedia (such as bioballs, lava rocks...whatever you have in the biological filter) time to mature and grow the bacteria. After such time, you should see an improvement in water clarity.

For the mean time monitor nitrite, ammonia and PH levels with a test kit, and consider washing the biomedia only in water taken from the pond (which could coincide with a water change - with the water to be used on the plants).

You may wish to try or switch to "Skippy System" which never grow any algae to my new pond right from the begining til now.. almost 2 months already continues with crystal clear water. Cool
