Does anyone know if sodium benonite, similar to Montmorillonite clay, may be used to plug up a water leak between the vinyl liner and the header's stone coping edge? If benonite is used like a caulk in the space between vinyl and stone, will it hold? Will it withstand freezing cold around - 10 degrees F. without breaking up? Will it harm fish?
