RE : Bubble on the water surface Can't Post

Hi, I have set up a new fiberglass tank of 4ft x 2ft x 1.5ft for my Koi. May I know how come there is bubble on the suface which failed to dissolved? I have used a water pump and the water will be pumped in the filter and flow down into the tank. The water from the tank hit the surface of the water in the tank and bubbles are produced.

Hi Rick,

bubble on the surface shows a sign of DOC. Please change the water 30% and check if your filtration system able to support your koi.

Please check the basic water condition;
ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and etc.

Important, keeping a healthy koi is done by keeping a good water condition.

Remember, koi live, eat, shi* in the same water and area provided by us. Think of the same scenario for human. Lock yourself in a room and do the same thing: live, eat, shi* and etc. Then think what is the effect and best way to keep you healthy and happy..

cheers

Hi Tstang,

The bubbles is gone or rather not accumulated in large quantity after I changed 30% of my tank water. But after abt 4 days of water changed, the bubbles appear again. Is the amount of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH etc in the water possible effect of the bubbles? Please enlighten me.Thanks.
