Hi

What is the best way to pass 1 1/2 inch Pressure pipe through a liner as a pond return.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I dont know why you are using such a small diameter pipe! My experience has led me to see that smaller is much more difficult than bigger! Bigger pipes will cause you less problems with clogging and pressure! but in any case send more info, like where this pipe is coming from and where its going, also send a photo of the pond, for more help!

What type of liner is it? Is it EPDM, PVC?

Tony,

It's easy mateCool Cut the hole 1/4" smaller than your pipe, now push the pipe very slowly(to avoid ripping the liner at the same time will give you a tight fit) from pond side to outside. You'll notice the outside part of the liner will form like a sleeve, you then use a ring clamp(must be marine grade) and tighten it very slowly. You can add a layer of liner over to prevent the clamp from tearing the liner while you're tightening itSmile You can use silicon after not beforeWink
