firstly, good job there with your koi pond. congratulation. i wonder if all jobs done by you, it will much satisfied yeah..
how much your koi inside there n did it got stresses..?
i got a 11x6 but very sadly just 1.5 dept!! koi pond. enjoying done it byself.. looking foward to construct another pond around 10x10x4.5. still doing drawing jobs. (dont wanna been delayed by this monsoon season) huhu.. living at kuantan maa..

I m still retaining my 28 kois with some pairs of river fishes such as Kalui, Patin, Arowana, Kelah, Pacu, Belider, Puyu, Sepat, Bat Angle, Artuchers, Crocodile fish, tortoise, King Parrot, Flower Horn and few more.. Aiming to get a pair of soft water Stingray..

The pond is really the joy of my life, day and night even mid night whenever I need to relax, pond side is the best place. Now I m focusing to decorate the pond surrounding with resort environment, bright peaceful green views regardless of day and night.

Most of my relatives that came for raya prefer to hang around the pond and enjoy the waterfall sound while having the raya food, cookies and sometimes BBQ. Cool

Hi Abangk,

You've got a long way when it comes to koi and pond keeping :)

Just a quick question, though. Is the wood that you used to cover the filtration area treated? I noticed that it was once shiny.

If so, does this chemical not pollute the water? I'm sure it will reek out if rains come...

Happy day Ivo..

Well having a koi ponds is not a cheap hobby anyway.. I need to take times to learn from the Sifus in this forum as much as possible.. if just for the purpose of having a koi ponds without full interest you may ends up with mosquito pond instead..

The wood cover were not treated but painted with waterproof wood paint that available in the market.
