To have rocks in pond Can't Post

I have a very simple rectangle pond that made with concrete and tiles. I am thinking of putting some rocks(small and big) at the bottom to make it look abit nicer and hopefully can do some other good? But i heard that rock is not good for the water quality and koi, is that true?

Hi Newbie888 SmileSmile

I have a pond which I added a few big boulders or rock stones . Certainly looks very creative and beautiful as it add natural touch to the pond
and landscaping .

Next i added 2 manta rays , 4 reef sharks , 8 moray eels , 6 African alligators and a few arapaima and AVA came knocking on my door after
I place order for 2 dolphins and a killer whale .

KIDDING ... Just Kidding with you ...SlySly No offence please .. just joking only ..SlySly

Always avoid putting rocks at the bottom of the Koi Pond , as the bottom rock can injure your Koi if they are flashing . We normally keep the pond bottom clean as well . These bottom rocks can have food that get stuck in between gaps and the untouch pallets can pollute your water . Not advisable .SlySly

Cheers
David
