White eggs/sponge problem in pond ?

Dear Teoh, from the picture, it looks like unfertilised koi eggs. My koi lays twice already. Fortunately, when they go on frenzy mating, all the male koi will chase after the female. We normally, capture them and put them in a breeding tank.(which is smaller). The unfertilised egg will turn white and fungus growing on them (hairy tread). If your pond got some plants, they will prefer to lay there, compare to other surface. Try looking for small fry. After 1 weeks. But, for your case, why the koi never eat the eggs?
