blood worm Can't Post

hi there
can anyone post a picture of blood worm?
This is because I have these reddish worms in the filter and wondering if they are harmful to the wish.
the picture is to compare if they are the same as the worms in my filter.
the worm sorta makes a nest of something to cover itself. If it is not useful or harmful, how do I get rid of it ?
thanx

Mr Seetoh
If you can find a fish store in a wet market you can easier see two types of worms being sold. One is the standard worms which is usually placed on a large shallow plate and they are kind of brownish color. The other type is chillie red. Huh! that's blood worm. Blood worm can also be bought in a frozen form. Some are from HongKong and the other popular one are from Japan at a cost of Sin$1.50 to $2.00 /packet.

As far as I know, only blood worm grows in filter system.

There isn't a need to worry about the worms. As mentioned by Fisherman go to Roark's article and you know what he's trying to tell you. Remember my 4 test systems (yet to complete) - the pre-filter layer has noticeable blood worm. So what I did when they get too many - I resined the layer and throw it into my other aquarium glass tank containing gold fishes. Arent those worms great for my gold fishes?

Koi keeper supposing be gracious like the koi we saw swimming in the water, koi keeping mean to smoothes our personality and polish the mind more refined.

Let me quote:-

Quote
Be proud but not arrogant. It takes pride to win the day. It takes pride to build your ambition. It takes pride in community. It takes pride in cause, in accomplishment. But the key to becoming a good leader is being proud without being arrogant. In fact I believe the worst kind of arrogance is arrogance from ignorance. It's when you don't know that you don't know. Now that kind of arrogance is intolerable. If someone is smart and arrogant, we can tolerate that. But
if someone is ignorant and arrogant, that's just too much to take.

MR Moderator thanks for the clean up, it is beginning to get out of hand. Hopefully put a stop to it or barred from post?
