Koi pond can be built with normal construction materials such as steel bars, concrete, bricks, pvc pipes, waterproofing compound. In general, a pond building contractor will arrange such material for the pond construction.

Well it is important to understand the overall concept of water treatment and pond maintenance before you proceed with the design of your pond. A good pond must be able keep your pond water in tip top condition at all time and most important of all, it must be simple and easy to maintain. Most koi keeper like us are busy businessman anyway.
