sure ... anytime. Only problem is i got the theory but not the practical. Smile

Take your time to visit all the pages on the website. By the time u r finish u will have a great idea of what u wanna do with the pond. Our construction might differ a bit but then all the principles are the same. Most important is the planning process where u must have a maintenance free or at least minimum and create all the aspects of pond construction ala the skimmer, bottoms drains, settlement chambers, drainage, waterfall, aeration etc etc minus of course the heating aspect! Have a look into the ponds that r displayed there and u can get a good idea though varied. Add in your own design and viola u will get your dream pond.

Have a peek into dttk webpage... he got a nice one too (click on his profile to get to his website).

Cheers.

(Give credit where credit r due!)

I recently completed my DIY pond (designed and constructed my yours truly). I documented the pond (including my DIY filter) on my website. Everyone is welcome to browse and comment (www.arifbakri.com).

p/s: My pond also featured in the Dec issue of Impiana magazine (Malaysian home magazine).

Hi Sichang, my pond size is approx 12'x7'x5' and the filter chamber is 8'x 4'x 6.5'. comes with a waterfall and some landscaping and it cost slightly more than RM10k. this include filter material and pumps. electrical wiring about RM500 with external lighting. the pond is almost ready except for the filter section partition and external landscaping.
hope this gives you some idea.
