how much will it cost to build a concrete pond 5"x6"x2.5"

a simple formal one without lanscaping...

can it be done for 2000-3000 bucks?
or will it cost more?

Hi
Which country you are from? Could you update your personal profile so that it will be easy for forum members to answer your question. Thanks in advance.

Generally in Singapore, the cheapest I enquired is $7,500 for a 8x4x3ft pond + a 1x4x2ft filter box and without landscaping. Maybe if our lobang man "uncle Eric" reads this message, he may tell us more.

I recently completed my pond (DIY) for about RM 5K. It would have cost me about 3 times more if I engaged a contractor. If you are interested, pls visit:

dont forget to have the concrete s=treated as it will leach out toxins which will kill all life in your pond.

I am pretty impressed with Arif's pond. Amazing how you can put together such a beautiful creation with just RM5K!

This gives hope to us all. RM5 K for a little paradise that can give you hours of evening relaxation and enjoyment is surely worth more than a package tour for the same price, right?

DIYs unite. Anyway $1K per ton of water rough estimation sounds a pretty decent price. Do it, Chowee. Wink
