Adding dechlorination Can't Post

Can anyone tell me how to add dechlor into the pond? Normally I will drain out some water first (20%) and then I will refill the tank straight from the tap. Can I just add the dechlor into the tank as the water is filling up? I use AquaPlus which is anti-chlorine and chromines, it is also said to make from natural herbal extracts and help to also reduce stress in fishes and heal cuts and minor injuries.

Thanks in advance.
Dennis

Learning from most of your message, you use quite abit of chemicals. If you are living in Singapore, there is no need for Dechor if the amount of water change is 20%. However if you insist that you MUST added Dechor, then it is recommended that you pre-prepare the new water with dechor added before pouring them to your pond.

Hi there

I have also been told that if you top up your pond from a hose, don't just let it pour in, blast it in through a sprinkler adapter and this helps to burn off some of the chlorine.

Hope it helps.
