Brown Algae Bloom Can't Post

Six weeks ago I drained and cleaned my 750 gallon pond. Two weeks later I noticed an unsightly brown algae growing on the ponds sides. I have always had algae but in previous years it was green and just covered the pond sides in a thin layer. The brown algae averages about 1 to 2 inches in length, and is not very attractive. All my water parameters are normal and the KOI do not seem impacted by the algae. My water is very clear it is just the algae bloom that is bothersome an unsightly.

Did the cleaning somehow trigger the brown algae? My filter is a pressurized fishmate 2000 with a 9w UV bulb. The bulb and fiters were replaced with the cleaning, the filter media washed in pond water to keep the bacteria. I maintain the pond water with koizyme and koi clay.

Will the brown algae eventually go away or do I need to do something else?
