Brown substance with algae growth Can't Post

Hello guys,

Sorry if I asked something silly.
My pond is new and the algae is just about starting to grow with patches of green here and there. However, brown substance, physically very much like the algae growth, is also starting to appear and proliferate? Does anyone know if this is normal and what the brown substance is???

Yup~ Dr. Tan is right!

My aquarium used to have alot of those ugly things too, but now it's cleared! crystal clear!

Maybe you should try to check your filter system and see or make some research on your filter system to make those algea go away~Cool

try it!Tongue

Good Luck!

Hi doitsu

Those brown substance are also a source of food for the kois. Leave them as it is unless they proliferate too much and becomes a nuisance!Crazy
