From peasoup green to clear to brown water???

To whom it may concern:
My pond was recently pea soup green for almost 2 months. A couple of my fish have ulcers too. After treating with .3% salt for 3 days without feeding the amonia level went down to 2.5, ph went down to 8 and nitrite level went to 0. The pond clear up. I went on vacation for a couple of days when I came back my pond became murky brown. We backflushed the filter a little bit but the pond still remains the same. What is wrong with my pond? Anyone's help is gladly appreciated.
