How could I build a pond vacuum ? Can't Post

My pond has been established now for 2-3 months and everything looks pretty good. 9 Kois from 3-8 in. They are active and healthy.

Recently I did some work around the perimiter of my pond to put in brick...this process caused alot of dirt and debris to fall into the water. It has all settled to the bottom and the fish don't really mind it, but I would like to figure out how to remove it all out without doing a full cleaning.

Does anyone know how I could construct a pond vacuum powered by my garden hose or my submersible pump ? Something like that would work perfectly.

Thanx

Use a centrifugal pump with a flexible host that is long enough to reach the bottom will do the job. The condition to be met is the centrifugal pump must be powerful enough to do the job.

The problem is buying additional centrifugal pump for this job is not worth your while Frown
