SNAILS 2-3 MM IN SIZE Can't Post

Hi,

I recently seem to have a mini-infestation of very small 2-3 mm sized snails in my bio-filter. Colour of shell is very dark - almost black.

Any ideas on how to get rid of them would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards.

Melvin,

1. I used to have that problem in my goldfish tank.

2. Anti-Snail power is readily available from fish shops. They are usually prepared in small little bottles.

3. The brand I used is KARE snail away which is pretty effective, at least no more snail problem for me for now. It claims that it will not hurt your fish and plant.

4. The only shortcoming is, it may turn your water chalky for a while.

Regards.
