Water heaters? Can't Post

Does anyone use a water heater to warm up the pond in the winter or spring? I am not talking about the de-icers, but an actuall water heater. What cost can these bring as in monthly electricity bills or gas bills? Is there any products out there that will warm my 500 gallon pond for say around 100 dollars that doesnt use tons of wattage and is safe for my Koi? Or am I just too impatient to see my friends swim sround....Smile

Hi
There are several different types of heaters on the market. Normally inline units powered by gas or expensive electricity.
Profi heaters are good IMHO but expensive to run.
They are a great idea as they make your fishes life more confortable and extend your growing season.
Used extensivley in the UK.
