Hello, Betty, it sounds like your having problems with your pond! In general NOTHING JUST HAPPENS, so stop and look for ANY slight differences that have been done lately sometimes even the smallest changes, can cause a big differance.
They say the flapping of a butterflies wing, can cause a hurrican on the other side of the world. You never know???

hi,ayranjim, nothing has happened, i did clean filters, but foam was starting before that. i love that about the butterfly, i live in hurricane alley,so you can imagine any thing about hurricanes catches my eye. today it rained and some of the foam was gone, the water seemed a lot clearer, could it be that my bio filter is just kicking in?? its only been running maybe 6 weeks. fish seem fine, maybe i should go ahead and fill up the pond. what do you think?? betty
