ph to high Can't Post

HI im having a few problems with high ph,and being new to the hobby thought someone may be able to help, the problem being that the water out of the tap is reading ph 7.2,but within 24 hours of being in pond[exposed to atmosphere] it is reading of the scale on my test kit[over 9.0].The ammonia and nitrite levels are bot perfect,my pond is1000 gallon, i have read on this site about people using oyster shells, baking soda etc,but will any of these lower it to something more stable or will it keep on going up and down?and how much should i be putting in?All of my koi seem fine but worried about future side effects, and introducing new ones. any help would be appreciated thanksSmile
